It was such an honor to work with San Diego Gas & Electric and help them create a Living Wall in the exterior Courtyard at their new Energy Innovation Center (EIC).
The living wall is filled with succulents and drought tolerant grasses. Our talented GreenScaped Buildings staff assisted Landscape Architect Spurlock Poirier in the design In September 2011, we installed the Living Wall and our skilled staff at Good Earth Plants now watches over it with regular maintenance and care.
The EIC is one of San Diego's first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum Buildings open to the public. The center features exhibits and presentations on today's latest green technologies.
We highly recommend visiting the EIC. It is an amazing space. If you go be sure to check out the living wall. We are so proud of our team and all of their hard work.
If you want to learn more about the center and catch a quick glimpse of the succulents in the living wall, be sure to watch SDG&E's profile video about the EIC included in this blog post.
